It's time for the Orbstown County Fair!
Welcome to the homepage for the 75th Annual Orbstown County Fair. This year is very special, as you may have seen in last week's newspaper: Orbstown is in grave danger. The land where our cherished "world's tallest corn cob tower" sits, once owned by Farmer Gerald (may he rest in peace), has been sold to the Freta Corporation. Gerald's son says he didn't know whom his realtor sold the land to in a private sale, and he hoped the new owner would let the town keep our corn cob tower standing. Unfortunately, Freta Corp says they will not approve the tower staying and plans to build a giant data center directly on top of it and right next to our very important town water source, Lake Orb. Thankfully, the sale has not yet gone through, thanks to Gerald Jr. This year, our 75th Annual County Fair will try to raise funds to buy back Farmer Gerald's land and keep The Largest Corn Cob Tower standing exactly where it has since 1951!

Orbstown County Fair Pin Design Contest Results
Orbstown County (OTISD) students submitted their design ideas for our annual county fair attendee pins! Fairgoers can pick up their complimentary attendee pin at the Orbstown City Management vendor tent, along with the fairground map and event schedule. Thank you to all the students who submitted pieces; we adored looking through every single one!

When asked about his submission, Mikey simply stated, "I like frogs." Local artist Orion, who leads the Orbstown County Fair Art Committee, turned Mikey's design into the final attendee pin. Mikey's parents are so proud of their son and hope everyone who picks up their complimentary pin enjoys his silly creative spirit!

Art Contest
The best way to fight against AI is creativity, so Orbstown is hosting an Art Contest! Click the button above to enter a human-made piece of art. You have until October 21st to craft and submit a frog-themed artwork in any medium (NO AI ALLOWED). Tay, Orion, and High-Priestess Orbit will judge the entries and pick the top three finalists. MOF's Instagram followers will then vote for their favorite artwork. The winner will receive a year's subscription to The Orb Mail Club at the $8 tier and a Year Four T-shirt!

This beauty pageant is also a custom contest. Sign up for The Orb Club at any tier and submit your pet photo, name, age, and a small bio to the pageant group chat to be entered. The most-liked pet photos will go head-to-head in a final duel where everyone on Patreon votes. Our winner will officially receive the title of "Orbstown's Prettiest Pet" AND a custom pet portrait (a digital copy and a physical piece) made by Orion's Belt Art!
Orbstown County's 2025 reigning Prettiest Pet, Rorschach Remmington Ratatouille I, will be presenting the crown to this year's winner!
